1.) Commander in Chief
- 4 billion dollars wartime power
- Diploy troop oversea military war power resolution
- Head of state
- Chief diplomat
- Diplomatic recognition
- Proposal and Ratification of Treates
- Executive agreements
- Chief executive
- Head of state
2.) Appoint (with senate consent):
- Head of executive department
- Federal court judges
- Other top officials
3.) Conducting foreign policy
- Treaties with consent of senate
- Meet with head of state
- Host foreign officials
- Apoint ambasadors
4.) Most Important Duty:
-Insure all laws of the U.S. are faithfully executed
SALARY: 200,000-400,000 (Two Hundred Thousand to Four Hundred Thousand)

PRESIDENTIAL SUCCESSION :
1) Who becomes president if that position became vacant? How did this come about?

- Speaker of the house of representative
3) What if the President becomes disabled?
- The presidency turns over to Vice President
- Vice President becomes temporary president
